This exhibition consists of new work set to interpret the wonder of Muskoka.

I borrowed shamelessly from Muskoka woods; its colors and lights peering through the tree cathedral- changing with the time of the day, season and ambient temperature-, the discarded birch bark lying on the ground- adding light and reflecting back the color of the moss, stone and ground-, the majestic stones, presiding royally over its environs, the knotted tree roots marking their territory and the ever changing leaves. I became obsessed with discarded birch tree bark that continued to give beauty to environment past its expiration date, so much so that the collected bark became a medium in this exhibit, used in harmony with the acrylic paints, oil sticks and paper collages.”
